Our client is seeking an experienced Program Director to lead the delivery of a major Data Centre programme in South Africa. The role will provide strategic leadership across multiple projects, ensuring programme objectives, cost, schedule, quality, risk, and stakeholder requirements are successfully achieved.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership and direction for large-scale data center programs.
- Oversee design review, technical compliance, and commissioning processes.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, risks, and reporting.
- Lead multi-disciplinary teams and coordinate with clients, contractors, and vendors.
- Ensure adherence to data center standards, quality, and regulatory requirements.
- Drive stakeholder communication and manage consultancy deliverables.
Experience & Requirements
- 20+ years of experience in major construction or infrastructure programmes.
- Data Centre / Mission Critical experience is essential.
- Proven experience leading large-scale, complex programmes from inception to completion.
- Strong understanding of programme controls, commercial management, construction, and project delivery.
- Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Relevant degree in Engineering, Construction, Project Management, or related discipline.
- South African / regional experience preferred.
