Purpose of the position: The customer service intern will contribute to the maintenance of good customer relationships whilst assisting with the delivery of order requests and resolution of customer queries.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Assisting the CSR team with processing of orders (internal and external) within agreed time frames.

Resolve customer queries in a timely and accurate manner.

Assist with verifying customer and order information to minimise queries.

Follow up on customers to place orders

Collaborate with the sales team in order to deliver on sales revenue for the region.

Assist CSR team member with following up on outstanding orders to ensure closure of open contracts

Collaborate with CSR team to process quotations as required

Ensure pertinent communication between all stakeholders is continuous and relevant.

Log claims or complaints on relevant systems and ensure closure in line with agreed time lines.

Educate yourself of the Mapei product range.

Attend product training to ensure product knowledge is an asset.

Adherence to company policies and procedures

Assist with administrative related tasks

Qualification and Experience:

A university degree with a relevant qualification in Sales, Logistics, or equivalent

Minimum 6 months to 1 year experience
