As a Customer Service Associate, you’ll connect with customers at community events and promotional locations throughout the Bay Area, answer questions about wireless products and services, and make the sales experience feel approachable rather than overwhelming. Every Customer Service Associate receives hands-on coaching while developing stronger communication, problem-solving, and professional sales skills.
Responsibilities of the Customer Service Associate
- Create a welcoming experience by greeting customers and making it easy to ask questions about wireless products and services.
- Listen carefully to customer needs before introducing relevant devices, plans, promotions, and sales options.
- Simplify wireless information so customers can compare their choices without getting lost in technical details.
- Recommend solutions based on each person’s preferences while keeping the sales conversation helpful and personalized.
- Continue developing as a Customer Service Associate through coaching in communication, product knowledge, and professional sales techniques.
- Answer questions and address concerns with patience, professionalism, and a customer-first approach.
- Guide interested customers through the sales and enrollment process while keeping each step organized and easy to understand.
- Help turn questions or uncertainty into confident decisions that create positive sales experiences.
- Collaborate with other Customer Service Associate team members to maintain strong service standards and support daily sales goals.
Qualifications of the Customer Service Associate
- Patient, approachable, and genuinely enjoys helping people.
- Strong listening and communication skills.
- Customer service, restaurants, hospitality, events, telecommunications, or sales experience is helpful but not required.
- Dependable, coachable, and comfortable learning new products and services.
- Able to stay attentive and positive in active event and community environments.
