Position Summary
The Custodian plays a vital role in ensuring that Westmor Industries provides a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for employees, customers, and visitors. This position is responsible for maintaining the overall appearance and functionality of our facilities, supporting a positive first impression and fostering a productive workspace.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily cleaning of all common areas, including lobbies, hallways, offices, and break rooms
- Maintain cleanliness of bathrooms and locker rooms, ensuring they are fully stocked with supplies
- Clean conference rooms and the Training Center, including room setup and air wall adjustments as needed

Complete routine cleaning tasks, such as:
- Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors
- Dusting furniture, fixtures, and surfaces
- Washing windows, doors, and glass partitions
- Emptying waste containers and recycling bins
- Perform light maintenance tasks such as painting and touch-ups
- Assist with snow removal around building entrances and walkways to ensure safety
- Keep work areas clean, orderly, and aligned with health and safety standards
- Follow established cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure consistent upkeep of facilities
- Take initiative to identify and address cleaning or maintenance needs proactively
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the facilities team and company operations
Compensation
- The starting pay range for this position is $18-23 per hour. Final compensation will depend on various factors including: skills, experience, and location.
Day Shift
- Monday – Friday, 6:00am – 2:30pm
Qualifications
- Experience: Prior custodial or facility maintenance experience preferred, but not required
- Strong attention to detail and pride in creating clean, safe spaces
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks
- Strong time management skills to complete jobs efficiently and on schedule
- Basic problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to work
