Requirements
Legal / Qualification / Certification
– Minimum NQF 5 qualification in the hospitality industry
– City and Guilds Diploma in Food Prep and Cooking / Patisserie beneficial
– CATHSSETA scoping beneficial
– Certified to conduct outcome-based assessment
Knowledge / Skill
– Strong computer literacy
– Curriculum and assessment knowledge
Experience
– Minimum 5 years Culinary Arts experience as a chef
– Minimum 2 years lecturing / teaching/assessor
