About the role

We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Cleaning & Migration Specialist to migrate agents onto a new technology platform. This requires each agent’s existing client/contact lists — currently held across various tools (Gmail, CRM systems, spreadsheets, etc.) — to be cleaned, standardised, and reformatted for ingestion into the new platform.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Data Collection and Analysis

  • Gather contact data from various sources, including agent CRMs, Gmail exports, and other internal platforms.
  • Utilise analytical tools and techniques to extract, clean, and validate data, ensuring accuracy and reliability throughout.
  • Split combined fields (e.g. full name) into first name / last name and other structured fields as required.
  • Reformat cleaned data into the final deliverable template provided for platform ingestion.

Data Quality Assurance

  • Maintain data integrity and quality through regular audits and checks.
  • Identify, de-duplicate, and resolve inconsistent, incomplete, or invalid records.
  • Suggest and implement data quality improvement measures to support accurate reporting.
  • Flag ambiguous or unresolved records for review before final submission.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Business, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Strong proficiency in data manipulation and analysis using tools such as Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.
  • Effective communication skills to convey complex findings to non-technical stakeholders.
  •  Ability to work collaboratively within a team and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Comfortable working with existing CRM contact data  (essential).
  • Reliable, able to work independently and meet turnaround deadlines on a fast-moving migration schedule
