Job Advert Summary
Country Road is seeking a dedicated Store Administrator to join our CRG Standalone store in Paarl to support the CRG Store Admin Department Manager (SADM) by delivering all Finance, HR, Systems (SMPs) administration to the required standards to ensure risk compliance. You will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service while managing HR and finance administration to ensure compliance and operational efficiency. Your responsibilities include overseeing payroll administration, attendance tracking, staff planning, and minimizing shrinkage by adhering to company policies.Our values are defined by the behaviours each and every one of us display. Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 or equivalent NQF Level
- Related degree advantages
Experience
- 2–3+ years’ experience in a fashion retail or customer-focused retail environment.
- Previous experience in a Administrative role with retail
- High level of personal integrity, honesty, and reliability aligned with organisational values.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage professionally with customers and internal teams.
- Proven track record of achieving personal and/or team goals
- Experience using retail KPIs to drive performance (e.g., market mapping, customer experience).
Duties and Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers professionally and promptly handling inquiries.
- Manage HR administration tasks including attendance registers, payroll processing, and staff scheduling in compliance with company policies.
- Maintain accurate payroll documentation for new hires, terminations, internal transfers, and special payments such as overtime and leave.
- Capture and update staff details on the staff planner, run weekly staff scheduling, and generate exception reports to ensure optimal staffing levels.
- Monitor and report any incidents of shrinkage or dishonesty in accordance with company procedures and escalate as required.
- Support risk compliance by compiling and submitting weekly and monthly risk analysis reports.
- Uphold personal leadership by adhering to attendance, dress code, and workplace discipline standards.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external customers, maintaining professionalism in written and verbal interactions.
- Use relevant office software and systems to ensure smooth HR and finance administrative operations.
- Demonstrate flexibility by working varied shifts to support business needs and maintain service continuity.
