Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and experienced crew leader specializing in mowing to join our mowing team. In this role, you will lead a crew responsible for maintaining high-quality lawns across various residential and commercial properties. Your leadership will ensure efficient operations, exceptional service delivery, and adherence to Stone Cross Lawn and Landscape’s quality standards. This position is ideal for those who enjoy working outdoors, being part of a team, and taking pride in delivering outstanding results.
Duties
- Lead and supervise a team of mowing technicians performing lawn maintenance tasks such a mowing, trimming, and blowing.
- Operate lawn maintenance equipment including zero-turn mowers, stand-on mowers, trimmers, blowers, as well as company vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed and quality standards are met.
- Monitor and maintain equipment conditions.
- Communicate effectively with your supervisor and team members to ensure routes are completed timely, to quality and safety standards, and any issues are addressed promptly.
Requirements
- Proven experience in commercial mowing operations using zero-turn mowers, stand-on mowers, trimmers, and blowers. Please do not apply if you do not have any mowing experience.
- Valid driver’s license; experience operating company vehicles preferred.
- Supervising or team management experience preferred.
- Ability to operate mowing equipment safely and effectively.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a crew efficiently.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Excellent communication skills combined with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
- Available Monday through Friday and occasionally Saturdays during busy season.

Pay: $21.00 – $24.00 per hour
