Creditors Clerk Jobs in Cape Town, South Africa at Principal Class Placements
As a Creditors Clerk, you will manage and maintain the wineries’ supplier invoices, ensuring they are processed accurately and payments are made on time.
Key Responsibilities
Process supplier invoices and ensure timely payments
Allocate bank statements to supplier accounts
Reconcile supplier accounts and resolve discrepancies
Maintain accurate financial records and prepare reports
Communicate effectively with vendors and internal teams
Assist with month-end and year-end financial processes
Load payments via Internet Banking
Support the finance team with general administrative tasks
Skills & Requirements
Proven experience as a Creditors Clerk or similar financial role
Strong understanding of accounting principles
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Matric / Grade 12 (relevant bookkeeping / accounting qualification is advantageous)
Strong numerical and analytical skills
Proficiency in MS Office Suite (especially Excel)
Experience with EZYWINE software is advantageous
Strong negotiation and persuasion skills
A passion for wine and appreciation for the industry is a bonus!
