We are seeking a Credit Ops Analyst to join our team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will support our collection functions, including Call Centre Collections, Debt Review, Recoveries team, and other analytical support within the area. We are looking for an analyst with moderate experience who is proficient in MS SQL, Power
BI, and Excel.
More about the role :
Overall analytical support across the Credit Operations space.
Running existing reports to be used in executive information packs.
Assisting operational departments with operational reporting.
Monitoring key metrics and interpreting findings.
Assisting with the review and enhancement of collection efforts and reporting.
Maintaining and updating strategies for early and late-stage collections to focus on the correct delinquent accounts.
Maintaining and updating forecast models for future collections, PTPs, and recoveries.
Using a data-oriented approach to work with others in solving complex business problems around profitability, marketing, risk, and operational analysis.
Designing experiments and using various test and control strategies for credit operations, analyzing results, and building predictive models to forecast future outcomes.
Performing data-oriented ‘what if’ and ‘ad-hoc’ analysis to support business strategy optimization in credit operations.
Assisting the Head of Credit Ops and Collections functions on key projects.
More about you :
Benefit from courses in advanced mathematics, computer programming, economics, and operations research.
Minimum of 3 years’ working experience as an analyst.
Working knowledge and exposure to processes such as banking or retail credit.
Advanced computer literacy skills with high proficiency in MS Excel, SQL, Power
BI, Python or SAS.
Project management experience will be advantageous.
