A well-established financial institution based in Cape Town is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Credit Manager to join their team
Salary:
Market related
Minimum requirements:
Grade 12
NQF Level 7 or Higher in a Financial or Banking related field essential
CIMA, Credit management degree or equivalent will be advantageous
2-5 years experience in a credit management environment, preferably in commercial finance
Experience managing teams and fostering a collaborative, high-performance environment
Competencies:
Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong leadership and team-building capabilities
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data insights to non technical stakeholders
High attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and compliance in all modelling activities
Passion for innovation and staying ahead of emerging trends in data science and credit automation
A self-starter, able to take initiative and drive models from concept to implementation while ensuring usability across teams
