Position: Credit Controller (Credit Vetting)
Minimum Requirements
Matric
2+ years of experience in credit control or risk management & credit vetting
Strong understanding of credit assessment principles
Familiar with regulatory requirements (AML, KYC, FICA)
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough credit checks on new and existing Customers
Monitor Customer credit exposure and adjust limits as needed
Evaluate creditworthiness based on established criteria
Recommend credit limits and terms
Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and other relevant documents
Stay up-to-date with regulatory changes and industry best practices
Ensure compliance with anti-money laundering (AML) and know-your-customer (KYC) regulations
Identify and report potential risks to management
Maintain accurate and organized credit files
Update Customer information in the database
