POSITION INFO:
Company and Job Description:
A well-established company in the FMCG/Retail sector is looking for an experienced and detail-driven Credit Controller to join their finance team.
This role is responsible for managing debtor accounts, ensuring timely collections, and maintaining accurate financial records, while delivering excellent customer service and supporting business cash flow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Allocate payments and reconcile customer accounts
- Maintain journals and ensure accurate financial records
- Follow up on outstanding invoices and resolve account queries
- Perform full credit control function up to handover stage
- Release sales orders in line with credit policies
- Prepare and issue debtor correspondence
- Allocate credit notes and manage account adjustments
- Maintain debtor master data and profiles
- Compile statements, reconciliations, and reports
- Assist with audits and forecasting processes
Job Experience and Skills Required:
Diploma or Certificate in Credit Management
3–5 years’ experience in a Retail or FMCG environment
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office
