“Our international client is seeking a CRANE MECHANIC SUPERVISOR who will instruct, direct, and supervise maintenance, repair and overall activities of multi-brand lifting equipment for the AMBRIZ Project based in ANGOLA.”
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Instructs, directs, and supervises the activities of inspection, troubleshooting, repair and overall, of mobile, crawler, tower and overhead cranes, such as Liebherr, Manitowoc, Kobelco, Locatelli, Terex, Grove, etc.
Excellent troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing, and overhauling skills in multi-brand lifting equipment.
Diagnose problems by inspecting the lifting equipment.
Good knowledge of mechanical and hydraulic system.
Basic knowledge of electrical system.
Estimate the cost of repairs, order parts, and track crane maintenance by writing technical reports.
Provides servicing and repairing report.
Read and understand operating manuals, and technical drawings.
Liaise with crane manufacturers on problems in order to achieve an efficient repair.
Meet all company safety standard.
QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
Accredited Mechanical degree level or equivalent.
Minimum of 5-10 years of experience.
A good understanding of property maintenance, methodologies, and processes.
A good communicator, with a track record of well-organized methodical work patterns.
Able to work autonomously and react quickly in high pressured situations.
