Denali Industrial Supply is seeking a Counter Sales Specialist.
This position is for a motivated individual who wants to join the fun, fast-paced team at our front counter.
The applicant will be interacting directly with customers in a fast-paced environment. Must be proficient with computers & email, have strong communication and customer service skills. Must be able to perform physical tasks that require lifting 40lbs and standing all day and show up on time for every scheduled shift. Previous sales experience and/or knowledge relating to tools & industrial supplies is helpful but not required.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Greeting customers as they arrive at the counter.
- Answer questions about products or parts.
- Suggest extra items or upgrades to boost sales.
- Write up or enter new customer orders into the computer.
- Take cash, check, or card payments and give out receipts.
- Answer phone calls and reply to customer emails.
- Restock shelves and tidy up product displays.
