Role Overview
Servicing the NMG Individual healthcare member base through intentional andimpactfulwellness initiatives. The Benefit Counsellor Healthcare assumes responsibility for the day-to-day management of the portfolio of health care individual clients. The primary focus is the servicing of clients’ and members face-to-face regarding medical scheme queries, plan advice, billings etc. The Benefit Counsellor Healthcare is also responsible for induction training and member training.
The growth of this member base is critical and retention of individual members is a priority.
Key Performance Objectives
Client responsibilities
Establish and follow processes that lead to identification of members leaving corporate clients
Implement proactive services to retain members in conjunction
Face-to-face query resolution with members
Member plan advice
Member queries relating to the medical scheme benefits
Constant follow up and feedback to relevant parties
Building of relationships with HR/payroll to obtain list of all members leaving corporate clients
Facilitate the relationship between the client and respective medical scheme/s
Rolling outcommunicationto individual members
Compliance with the NMG Style guide
Keeping written records of all clientcommunicationand interaction within the stipulated time period
Assist members with Gap-cover applications as well as claims administration.
General responsibilities
Compulsory to load applications electronically where possible
All client correspondence to be loaded and executed through Zoho
Have a good understanding of legislation and regulations that govern the health care environment
Attend internal meetings and training as and when required
Member database to be maintained on Zoho
Identifying and pursuing new business andcross-sellingopportunities.
Minimum Qualifications
Matric certificate
NQF5 wealth management or higher appropriate qualification
RE5 Regulatory Examination Certificate
Class of Business Training Certificates (inrespectof the license categories for which the candidate has been registered)
CPD certificates (can no longer work under supervision)
Experience
3 or more years of member engagement
3 or more years of Health Care Experience.
