A leading Mining company based in Mooinooi, North-West is looking for a Cost Accountant to join their team of professionals.
Responsibilities:
Financial processing & reporting
Operation cost control & allocation
Preparing operational cost budgets
Cost reporting for operations
Asset register control
Operation purchasing & pricing control
Month end process
Work closely with operations management and staff
Support to plant management and Financial Department
Stock Management
Implementation and control of spareinventory managementsystem
Manage inventory
Ensure that stock levels are adequate
Manage, control and organize inventory counts
Stock value control;
General housekeeping of warehouses
Supervision, coaching and mentoring of staff members
Requirements:
Grade 12 / Matric with accounting as a subject
Degree in Finance / Cost & Management Accounting
Post graduate qualification may be advantageous
5 – 8 Years working experience in a similar field
Experience in cost management
Experience in spares inventory control
Must be an action-oriented person
Analytical skills
Attention to detail
Communication Skills
Be able to work under pressure
Must be a result-driven person andforward-thinking
