Copywriter (Direct Response / Ad Focused)
Remuneration: R150 per hour
Location: Remote (South Africa)
Type: Part-time or Full-time
We’re looking for a copywriter who knows how to write copy that performs — ads that get clicks, video scripts that keep people watching, and captions that don’t sound like they were written by a bot.
This is not a blogging role. You won’t be writing articles after articles. You will be working on:
Meta (Facebook/Instagram) ads
Google Ads (headlines, descriptions)
Short-form scripts for video ads
Captions for social media
Responses to Google reviews
Light editing of existing content (checking tone, grammar, brand voice)
Website copy
You’ll be expected to use tools like ChatGPT — but also know how to clean up and humanize that output. We’re not looking for someone to paste AI content and hit publish. You need to know how to guide the tool, then edit for tone, accuracy, and clarity.
What you need:
Experience writing direct response ad copy
A solid understanding of what works on Meta, Google, YouTube, etc.
The ability to review and improve AI-generated drafts
Familiarity with common copywriting frameworks
Attention to tone, detail, and brand alignment
Good judgment — especially in regulated industries (e.g. health, HIPAA-safe copy)
