Control Room Supervisor Jobs in Germiston, Gauteng 1429 at Xone Integrated Security (Pty) Ltd.
Functional Outputs:
Responsible for developing and maintaining effective security structures and measures.
Initiating or maintaining policies and procedures for general safety and security
Oversee and manage the control room operations.
Conduct and close out investigations relating to security related or safety related matters.
Training of staff: select, train, schedule, discipline and direct security personnel in all aspects of security and site policies and procedures.
Ensuring effective surveillance from the team.
Maintaining good working relationships with the client.
Keeping up-to-date with world news and security industry trends as well as various ad hoc duties.
Apply appropriate resolution strategies to resolve issues.
Dispatch information or instructions to on-site security services via telephone and or meetings.
Perform surveillance tests, gathered data and inputted information into internal database (Visiometric) for further review and permanent recordkeeping.
Develop and implement performance improvement strategies and plans to promote continuous improvement.
Administration Work (handling leave, grievances, queries, attendance etc.)
Report compilation.
Managing and ensuring that tasks are carried out accordingly by Control Room staff.

Facilitate Training
Maintain staff morale.
Develop and execute full-scale safety plan in case of emergency incidents and personally train all Control Room Operators on outlined procedures.
Technical Skills:
Understand the fundamentals of a basic Network.
Understand and manage CCTV configurations
Understand and manage restarting of network switches
Understand how the CCTV system works
Must be able to maintain cameras by removing and re-installing where necessary.
Educational Requirements
Matric / Grade 12 equivalent
Registered PSIRA Minimum Grade A
Drivers Licence-Code EB (PDP Advantageous)
Minimum 3 years Leadership & Supervisory experience in a similar environment.
Exceptional and Effective Communications skills.
Excellent Report writing and administration abilities
Proficient in Microsoft office (Word/Excel /Outlook)
3 Years Relevant Control Room & CCTV operation experience
Ability to carry-out procedures, discipline, and compliance methodically.
Exceptional Management and Customer/ Client relation skills.
Proven knowledge of the SABS ISO 9001 process.
