Key Responsibilities
- Operation of an automated plant to produce a quality product.
- Effective planning of the manufacturing activities to optimise throughput.
- Managing production flow to avoid bottle necks and or hold-ups, causing unnecessary down time.
- Communicating with operational related departments and staff.
- Ensuring that quality standards are achieved.
- Compilation and recording of data.
- Upholding housekeeping and Safety requirements.
Knowledge/Competencies
• Grade 12 with Mathematics
• Must have at least 1 year working experience in this industry or a similar type of role
• Must be able to calculate basic mathematics equations
• Must be able to read, write and converse in English
• Must have basic computer experience
• It would be preferable for candidates to have previous experience in a Feed Mill environment
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be physically fit
• Willing to work in dust and hot environment
