Position: Â Control Room Operator (CCTV) – Middelburg
A vacancy exists in Middelburg as a Control Room Operator, reporting to the Operations Manager.
Minimum Requirements
Grade B PSIRA (SOB) registered and accredited, with traceable references
Own reliable transport.
Computer Literacy in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook etc) and CCTV Operating Systems.
Strong organizational skills, as well as good interpersonalcommunicationand liaison skills are essential.
Must be able to work under pressure and for extended hours as and when required
Work independently and within a team.
A minimum of two years’ experience in the security industry Control room
Fluent in English
No criminal record
Must be reliable and trustworthy
Must reside in the Middelburg area.
Key Performance Areas: (not totallyinclusive)
Informing duty managers of incidents as and when required
Dispatching of guards
Ensuring that all sites are covered
Able to record all incidents in a Occurrence Book (OB) as well as in a Electronic OB
Receiving complaints and informing management accordingly
Able to transfer knowledge to guards accordingly
Able to exercise and maintain discipline
Able to follow instructions accurately
