About the job
We are currently looking for an experienced Contracts & Commercial Manager to join a leading contracting organisation in the UAE.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the commercial and contractual management of major infrastructure projects
• Manage contracts, variations, claims, EOTs and commercial negotiations
• Oversee subcontractor and supplier contracts, payments and commercial evaluations
• Monitor project costs, budgets, cash flow and overall commercial performance
• Identify and mitigate contractual and commercial risks
• Prepare and review contractual correspondence, notices and claims
• Work closely with Project, Procurement, Finance and QS teams
• Lead negotiations with clients, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and commercial procedures
Requirements:
• 8–10 years of relevant experience in contracts and commercial management
• Strong experience specifically within roads and bridges / infrastructure projects
• MRICS or a relevant professional qualification is highly preferred
• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Commercial Management, Law or a related discipline
• Strong knowledge of FIDIC contracts, claims, variations, EOTs and dispute resolution
• Proven experience in contract administration and commercial management
• Strong commercial negotiation and stakeholder management skills
• UAE/GCC experience is highly desirable
