Job purpose
- Responsible for end-to-end contract management, ensuring contract signing quality and contract performance efficiency and compliance, as well as sales authorization and execution efficiency and standardization. Through enabling contract reading, writing, negotiation, and application, along with sales evaluation and decision-making, it ensures controllable transaction risks and supports the achievement of business outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Leading contract generation: Overseeing contract reading, writing, negotiation, and application; taking responsibility for contract solutions and texts, and overall commercial and legal professionalism. During the bidding phase, organizing responses to commercial and legal aspects and preparing business proposals; during contract generation, formulating contract solutions, drafting/revising/finalizing contracts; participating in/leading project/contract negotiations with clients; during contract signing, reviewing, signing, and ensuring completeness of contract documents.
- Organizing sales processes: Managing the review and decision-making processes for business applications, contract signings, and contract changes, ensuring compliance and efficiency, and closing the loop on sales decision outcomes.
- Participating in contract risk mapping: Conducting regular scans of contract risks within client portfolios; contributing to the planning and delivery of contract quality operational maps.
- Promoting contract performance: Executing contract handovers to ensure complete transfer of key information such as contract responsibilities, rights, risks, and assumptions; participating in/leading the development of contract change solutions with clients, leading change negotiations, and signing change documents; identifying long-overdue contracts, driving resolution of anomalies, and executing contract closure responsibilities with clients; coordinating with headquarters’ transaction fulfillment center for post-sales processes like invoicing and contract archiving.
- Executing sales process compliance: Performing compliance and internal control tasks as planned; routinely checking adherence to sales process compliance; providing compliance training and support to sales teams.
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in related field
- Minimum 2 years’ experience within contract administration
- Contract Lifecycle Management experience
- Experience within a telecommunication’s/IT environment is advantageous
