Content Producer Jobs in City of Cape Town, Western Cape, South Africa at RelyComply
Title: Content Producer
Company: RelyComply
Location: City of Cape Town, Western Cape, South Africa
About RelyComply
RelyComply is an enterprise anti-financial crime platform built for regulated institutions tackling AML, KYC/KYB compliance, and fraud detection in one place. We work with tier 1 banks and insurers across South Africa and are actively expanding into the UK market. We're entering our most operationally intensive phase yet – a monthly product webinar series, a growing UK events programme, and a major product launch – and building in-house capability to deliver it all without relying on fragmented external suppliers.
Role Overview
The Content Producer & Events Specialist owns the execution layer of RelyComply's marketing engine – from podcast recording through webinar run-of-show to roundtable and dinner logistics across South Africa and the UK. This role exists to bring production and event capabilities in-house, freeing senior marketing team members to focus on strategy and messaging while you ensure every recording, broadcast, and event is delivered on time and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the RelyComply podcast end-to-end: brief coordination, recording logistics, editing, publishing, and performance tracking
- Repurpose webinars, podcasts, and events into short-form video for LinkedIn and YouTube Shorts
- Liaise with external videographers on shoot days and own the internal production brief
- Own logistics for the monthly Demo Day webinar series: registration pages, run-of-show documents, presenter briefing, and tech rehearsals
- Coordinate cross-functionally on demo readiness, ensuring presenter materials are tested before broadcast
- Manage registration and attendee data flows in HubSpot, handing off post-event data for sales follow-up
- Source and manage venues for breakfast roundtables and private dinners, including UK-based events
- Build run-of-show documentation and speaker briefing packs, and coordinate filming crews, gifting, and guest logistics
- Transform long-form recordings into short-form assets for social and email, and brief external designers on asset requirements
QualificationsRequired Skills & Experience
- Hands-on experience producing podcasts, video, or live events — agency, in-house, or freelance
- Proficiency in video editing tools (e.g. Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or fast-turnaround tools such as CapCut or Descript) for short-form repurposing
- Practical experience with webinar or live broadcast platforms (Zoom Webinar, StreamYard, or similar)
- Experience building and executing run-of-show documentation under live event pressure
- Strong logistics ownership instinct — able to coordinate vendors, venues, and schedules without being chased
- Calm, clear decision-making under pressure when a live broadcast or event timeline is at risk
- Based in or able to work hybrid from Cape Town
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Working knowledge of HubSpot, particularly registration and attendee data flows
- Experience briefing designers on creative asset requirements
- Exposure to cross-border or cross-time-zone event coordination (e.g. South Africa/UK)
- Experience supporting SEO or website optimisation initiatives alongside a marketing team
