About TUFTCROWD
TUFTCROWD is a creative tufting studio offering unique tufting experiences located at 243 Bree Street, Cape Town, South Africa. We’re passionate about self-expression through tufting, and our studio the center for bold creativity and hands-on fun. Not only do we offer tufting workshops, but we also offer punch-needle workshops.
About Urban Pets
Urban Pets is our forward-thinking pet brand, offering smart pet products like litter boxes, drinking fountains, toys, automatic feeders, toys, clothing and accessories designed for modern pet lovers.
Role Overview
We’re looking for a Content Creator who is confident, outspoken, and obsessed with trends. With a keen eye for attention to detail you’ll be responsible for planning, shooting, and editing high-quality content that showcases both TUFTCROWD and UrbanPets in a way that is visually striking, engaging, and on-brand. If you love being in front of the camera, can confidently produce polished videos, and have a sharp eye for detail – this is for you.
Key Responsibilities
Content Production
Create trend-driven video content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and other platforms
Regularly appear on-camera and present with confidence and clarity
Script, shoot, and edit short-form videos highlighting products, services, and brand essence
Conduct lifestyle and product shoots
Edit videos using Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, or similar tools
Apply basic color grading and motion graphics to elevate visuals
Use Photoshop (or similar) to design promotional graphics and enhance images
Creative Direction
Stay current with social media trends, sounds, and formats
Maintain visual consistency and storytelling across all platforms
Plan and manage content calendars and deadlines
What We’re Looking For
2+ years experience in a content creation or similar creative role
Skilled in Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, and Photoshop
Camera-ready and comfortable speaking on-screen
Strong understanding of color grading, layout, and storytelling
Detail-oriented with excellent time management
Able to take initiative and manage projects independently
Valid driver’s license and own transport
Bonus: Experience creating content for consumer or pet brands
Next Step – Creative Task
Shortlisted candidates will receive a brief and asset pack and must complete the following:
Creative Submission (choose 2 of 3 options):
Compulsory: A graphic design asset (poster, story slide or feed post for Tuft Crowd)
Option 1: A narrative-style video with a voiceover, presenting Tuft Crowd
Option 2: A high-energy ad-style video, short and trend-driven, suitable for TikTok or Reels
All instructions, formats, and deadlines will be clearly communicated. Be sure you can download and work with external files.

Pay: R6Â 000,00 – R12Â 000,00 per month
