Purpose of Position:
To perform Haematology Pathology tasks to ensure proper workflow in the Haematology laboratory.
Requirements:
FC Path(SA) (Required), HPCSA Registration in Relevant Register and Practice Field (Required), MBChB (Required), M Med (Pathology) (Required)
Key Responsibilities:
Advise Clients on life threatening results
Continuous Education for Pathology laboratories
Maintain client relations to promote the image of Ampath
Marketing
Oversee the standard of the work performed, overall operation and administration in the laboratory
Promotion of Professional Standards and Expertise
Provision of Continuous Pathology/Clinical Laboratory Service:
Consultation with doctors
Control and monitoring of results
Result verification
Reporting
Participation in Peer Group
Sign-out all abnormal results according to criteria
