Job Description
On Point On Time Solutions is seeking a qualified Construction Site Agent to join our Projects and Operations Department. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals with a strong background in civil engineering and wastewater treatment.
Requirements
Education: National Diploma or BTech in Civil Engineering.
Experience:
Minimum of 10 years in the built environment.
At least 5 years of experience in wastewater plant treatment.
Certification: Experience as a Pr Tech Eng or Pr Techni Eng is essential.
Registration: Must be registered with ECSA.
Key Performance Areas
Water Treatment Knowledge: Strong understanding of water treatment processes and technologies.
Project Oversight: Oversee the entire construction process, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and budget.
Program Preparation: Prepare programmes for contracts, and plan and requisition labor, materials, and equipment.
Cost Management: Prepare, supervise, and compile monthly cost reports, plans, and labor forecasts; authorize expenditure.
Site Supervision: Monitor on-site activities for adherence to project plans, specifications, and safety standards.
Team Management: Supervise the construction team, including site foremen, laborers, and subcontractors.
Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards and building codes.
Production Monitoring: Monitor construction activity and produce daily progress reports for management.
Communication: Serve as the main liaison between clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of project activities, including reports and compliance documentation.
Supplier Coordination: Manage procurement and delivery of construction materials to avoid delays.
