Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Building Foreman to oversee and manage on-site construction activities, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of construction processes, and the ability to coordinate teams and subcontractors effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate daily on-site operations.
Ensure work is carried out according to project plans, specifications, and timelines.
Monitor and maintain compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations.
Manage and lead construction crews, including subcontractors, ensuring productivity and quality.
Inspect work to ensure it meets building codes and project standards.
Communicate regularly with the project manager and other stakeholders regarding progress and issues.
Coordinate the delivery and use of materials, tools, and equipment.
Maintain accurate records of work hours, materials used, and progress reports.
Resolve problems or conflicts that arise on-site.
Ensure proper use and maintenance of machinery and tools.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a building foreman or similar supervisory role in the construction industry.
In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and safety guidelines.
Strong leadership and organizational skills.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical documents.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Trade qualification or equivalent (Carpentry, Bricklaying, etc.) preferred.
Valid driver’s license and own transport.
First Aid, Health & Safety certification is a plus.
Working Conditions:
Outdoor and indoor work on construction sites.
Exposure to varying weather conditions.
May require overtime or weekend work depending on project needs.

Pay: R15Â 000,00 – R25Â 000,00 per month
