Connectivity & Project Support Administrator Jobs in Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape, South Africa at TenacIT Solutions
Title: Connectivity & Project Support Administrator
Company: TenacIT Solutions
Location: Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape, South Africa
About TenacIT Solutions
We’re a Managed Service Provider and Internet Service Provider focused on helping businesses stay reliably connected and supported. That means clear communication, smart infrastructure decisions, and consistently professional service—backed by a team that values doing things properly.
The Role
We’re looking for a methodical and dependable administrator to join our Lines & Porting team. This is a support-focused role—ideal for someone who takes their work seriously, gets satisfaction from structure and clarity, and doesn’t need their hand held.
You’ll assist in the technical and logistical admin behind getting clients connected—from checking what fibre infrastructure exists in a given area to helping roll out projects once a plan is in place. It’s about managing details, keeping things moving, and doing the quiet work that makes the bigger work possible.
You’ll work closely with one team member, but you’ll also need to hold your own. We value accuracy, follow-through, and a level head.
Your Responsibilities
Research and document connectivity options for client locations (fibre type, coverage, viability).
Support project rollouts by managing correspondence, tracking progress, and coordinating with providers.
Handle the admin behind new line sign-ups and changes, including vendor communication.
Maintain accurate, up-to-date records and documentation.
Assist across other areas of the company when needed, especially where strong admin skills can add value.
Flag issues, ask smart questions, and help keep tasks moving forward.
What We’re Looking For
You’re highly organised, practical, and dependable.
You’re comfortable working with data, documents, and systems, and you take pride in getting the details right.
You follow up. You close the loop. You don’t lose track of things.
You’re professional in your communication, both written and verbal.
You’re not afraid to ask when you don’t know, but you also don’t wait to be told what to do next.
Prior experience in connectivity, ISPs, or technical admin is a plus—but not a requirement.
What You Should Know
This is a structured, admin-heavy role. It’s not glamorous, but if you’re good at what you do, people will notice—and we do value people who show capability and consistency.
This role will suit someone who is early in their career, but wants real responsibility, not babysitting.
While this role is focused on execution and support, there is room to grow. If you demonstrate strong judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to think beyond the task at hand, there is potential to move into more strategic administrative roles within the company over time.
Skills, education and experience
Minimum education of grade 12
If you have a year+ of work experience, that would be beneficial
A passion for the IT/MSP sector and keen interest in growing in the industry
