Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Conference & Events Sales Manager on behalf of a prestigious client in the scenic Durbanville area. This luxury winery, renowned for hosting high-end conferences, bespoke celebrations, and exclusive events, is looking for a dynamic professional to lead their sales and marketing initiatives within the MICE industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement strategic sales and marketing plans to achieve targeted revenue goals
Drive new business development and expand market share in the hospitality and events sectors
Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure high levels of satisfaction and loyalty
Collaborate closely with the events and operations teams to ensure flawless execution of all functions
Monitor sales performance, analyse trends, and adjust strategies to maintain a competitive edge
Represent the brand with professionalism and integrity at all industry engagements
Essential Requirements:
Minimum 5 years’ proven sales experience within the hospitality, events, or conferencing sectors
Strong knowledge of sales and marketing principles with a proven ability to meet targets
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
A diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, Sales, Marketing, or a related field will be advantageous
