We are looking for a professional, reliable, and customer-focused individual who is committed to providing exceptional service while maintaining a safe and secure environment for our residents, visitors, contractors, and staff.

The ideal candidate will be well-presented, approachable, and capable of handling security responsibilities with professionalism and discretion.

Minimum Requirements

  • Matric (Grade 12)
  • Computer literate
  • Fluent in spoken and written English
  • Previous experience in a concierge, security, or customer service role
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Customer-focused with a commitment to service excellence
  • Honest, trustworthy, and reliable
  • Good conflict resolution and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively and report accurately to management
  • Positive attitude and ability to work well within a team
  • Willingness to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays
  • Excellent timekeeping and attendance record
  • Sober habits
  • Professional appearance and conduct
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Reliable and contactable at all times

Advantageous Qualifications and Experience

  • First Aid Level 1 Certificate
  • Fire Fighting Level 1 Certificate
  • CCTV and surveillance system experience
  • Strong face-to-face communication skills
  • Minimum of 12 months’ experience in a similar role
  • Ability to speak an additional language

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide a professional concierge service to residents and visitors.
  • Monitor access to the building and control entry and exit.
  • Ensure the safety and security of residents, visitors, contractors, and property.
  • Patrol the premises and report any security or maintenance concerns.
  • Operate CCTV and other security systems where applicable.
  • Respond appropriately to incidents, emergencies, and resident enquiries.
  • Maintain accurate occurrence logs, incident reports, and handover notes.
  • Liaise professionally with residents, contractors, emergency services, and management.
  • Deliver excellent customer service while enforcing building rules and procedures.
  • Assist in maintaining a welcoming, safe, and secure environment at all times.
