Title: Commercial Vehicles Sales Specialist – Pre-Owned

Purpose of the job:

To support and generate sales mainly within the IVECO Pre-Owned centre. To strive towards achieving relevant Pre-Owned sales targets as well as commercial targets set by the Company for Pre-Owned.

To support qualitative re-entry of truck returns from Buyback/Tradeback contracts as well as Trade-ins where required. In some cases requiring to travel around South Africa checking truck condition and mechanical validity together with official inspection process.

Key areas of responsibility:

Assist, monitor and generate sales with Pre-Owned partner and the Iveco dealer network in all aspects of pre-owned units,

Provide a supporting role in terms of sales and technical solutions regarding:

Pre-Owned Sales Volume setting and achievement through commercial partner.

Iveco Inventory Management (Used trucks)

Aged Inventory Management (Used trucks)

Introduction of new clients to the brand. (Used trucks)

Liaison for information dissemination and strategic implementation with dealer network.(Used trucks)

Weekly/Monthly report generating for their respective Manager

Office based in Centurion

Minimum of 8 joint customer visits per month including completion of related customer visit report specific to Pre-Owned sales and operations

Knowledge and skills needed:

Education

Tertiary institution qualification or Technical degree required(Motor related)

Related experience

A minimum of 5 years sales experience in a similar role in the Commercial Vehicle Industry preferably with a Competitor within SACU or Southern Africa RHD region.

Preferable Pre-Owned experience required and knowledge of Pre-Owned market and multi-brand product price points.

Own customer database is mandatory of current Pre-Owned customers in SA or Export markets. (Used)

Good computer skills, Word, Excel & PowerPoint. Experience in facilitation/coaching/training/presentations
