A Graduate degree from an accredited institution, preferably in engineering, finance, accounting, business administration, or related field
Proven experience in financial management, including invoicing, forecasting, and debt management.
Prior exposure to logistics and supply chain management.
Knowledge of exchange rate handling and international financial operations.
Experience in financial modelling and strategic planning.
Prior experience in a commodity trading environment is highly recommended.
Key Responsibilities :
Oversee and manage the financial operations of a designated manganese asset.
Manage invoicing processes and ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
Develop financial models and forecasts to support decision-making and strategic planning.
Monitor and manage debt, including covenant compliance and interest checks.
Handle exchange rate fluctuations and support transactions involving multiple currencies.
Operational Oversight :
Manage office administration tasks to support daily business operations.
Oversee logistics and supply chain processes, ensuring efficiency and timely delivery.
Engaging with various trading houses
Managing commercial processes of related companies
Specialized Commercial and Finance Functions :
Understand and apply transfer pricing principles (advantageous but not mandatory).
Support compliance with industry regulations and financial standards.
Understand financials compliance and especially dealing with foreign entities
Collaboration & Strategic Input :
Work closely with senior management and stakeholders to align financial strategies with business objectives.
Provide detailed insights and recommendations on financial performance and asset optimization.
Be available and willing to travel throughout South Africa as required by business needs.
