Overview
The client is seeking a Detailer to support precise technical submittals and complex shop drawings within Division 8 commercial detailing.

Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience within the Division 8 construction industry detailing technical project work
- Ability to understand and interpret plans, specifications, addendums, and modification documents
- Experience managing field documentation and schedule revisions driven by change orders
- Willingness to travel to the office 3 times per year
- AHC preferred
- More than 7 years of dedicated commercial detailing experience preferred
- Knowledge and expertise in the construction industry, with specific emphasis on Division 8 Specialties preferred
Key Responsibilities
- Generate and manage precise technical submittals according to project specifications
- Compile comprehensive submittal packages covering RFIs, material schedules, and manufacturer data
- Review plans and specifications and input accurate details into the order management system
- Collaborate with Estimating and Project Management teams to clarify and execute project scope
- Use strategic buying programs and vendor negotiations to reduce project costs and maximize budget efficiency
- Validate vendor quotes and specialized product requirements daily
- Maintain detailed conflict records
- Propose engineered solutions during technical detailing meetings
