Purpose of this position:
The primary purpose is to oversee bid processes in order to deliver a fully considered and coordinated bid for adjudication.
Responsibilities:
Managing internal sales department.
Managing compliance risks.
Calculate and approve bid prices.
Maintain updated pricelist.
Ensure that clients provide adequate information.
Attend tender briefing meetings.
Co-ordinate post tender negotiations with clients.
Manage the guarantees including letters of credit.
Initiate internal meetings to review, design alternatives/ value management.
Minimum Requirements:
Diploma or BSc/BTech in Quantity Surveying or similar.
Minimum of 5-8 years’ experience in the management of contracts, bids and projects within the engineering manufacturing or construction environment.
