Job Overview
We are looking for a reliable and experienced Code 14 Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to road safety regulations and company policies.
Key Responsibilities
Safely operate a Code 14 (EC) vehicle for local and long-distance deliveries.
Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any defects or issues.
Load and offload goods according to delivery instructions and company standards.
Ensure all relevant documentation (delivery notes, trip sheets, etc.) is completed accurately.
Adhere to all road safety regulations and company procedures.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients.
Maintain cleanliness and care of the assigned vehicle.
Report any incidents, delays, or route changes immediately.
Minimum Requirements
Valid Code 14 (EC) driver’s licence with PrDP.
Minimum of 5 years’ driving experience with Code 14 vehicles, Low bed truck experience will be an added advantage.
Clean driving record and a strong understanding of road safety laws.
Good communication skills and a professional attitude.
Basic literacy and numeracy skills for paperwork handling.
