Ceramic Anilox Engravers Pty Ltd (CAE) is a specialist company that manufactures and refurbishes Anilox rollers & sleeves for the flexographic, gravure, offset, and coating industries globally.
Role Description
We are seeking a Junior CNC Operator with Conventional Lathe Experience to support our precision engineering and engraving processes.
The Operator will be responsible for assisting in machine operation, quality control, and working with various machinery on a day-to-day basis.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure accurate engraving aligned with customer specifications and traceability requirements.
Set up and operate Machines.
Understanding and knowledge of CNC Machine Operation.
Quality Control and Machining skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical instructions
Knowledge of CNC programming and operation would be an advantage.
Ability to troubleshoot and maintain machinery
Team player with good communication skills
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
Interpret technical drawings and production specifications for roller dimensions and tolerances.
Maintain accuracy and consistency.
Adhere to company health and safety protocols, including PPE use and machine guarding procedures.
Collaborate with team members across machining, inspection, and quality control departments.
Requirements:
1+ years of experience with CNC operations in a manufacturing environment.
1 + of Conventional Lathe experience.
Familiarity with rotating equipment and precision tolerances.
Strong attention to detail and quality.
