Job Title: Clinical Specialist

Purpose of the Job: To promote and sell medical products and services to existing and developing markets.
Job Functions:
Promotion of the applicable product range through in-depth knowledge of the disease area and product specificities.
Responsible for building and maintaining effective and positive relationships with all stakeholders.
Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales against budget.
Track sales daily.
Update and submit monthly reports to Sales Manager with relevant highs, lows, and market insight.
Submit weekly sales report and planner to Sales Manager.
Submit monthly expense reports to Sales Manager.
Implement promotional campaigns as set out by Product Manager.
Manage own budget expenses as set out by Sales Manager.
Assist Sales Manager/Product Manager in developing strategies per market segment e.g. hospital groups, public sector, tenders.
Responsible for implementing launch plan at customer level.
Ensure effective stock management at hospitals, including movement, upliftment, and setting of stock levels.
Ensure minimum expiries of stock by effective management.
Comply with all legal requirements.
Conduct formal consignment stock review on a 6-monthly basis.
Recommendation of new products to Head:
Sales & Marketing.
Ensure that all products within the portfolio are managed within the required temperature ranges as applicable.
Attendance, participation, and support at medical educational meetings.
Education
, Knowledge, Skills and Personal Attributes
Required:
Relevant medical qualification (degree/diploma)
Minimum 5-8 years’ experience in sales
Analytical
Computer literacy
Conflict resolution
Strong communication skills
Must be able to work flexible hours due to customer requirements
Proven track record in selling
Strong customer care service
Must be able to travel
