As a Cleaner, you will play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and a safe environment throughout the hospital. Your work will directly contribute to the comfort and well-being of our animal patients, clients, and staff members.
Key Responsibilities :
General Cleaning Tasks :
Clean and sanitize floors, walls, windows, and surfaces in designated areas using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment.
Sweep and mop floors, and empty trash receptacles.
Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
Hospital Area Cleaning :
Clean and disinfect cages.
Ensure cleanliness and organization in patient treatment areas, waiting rooms, and examination rooms.
Maintain cleanliness in surgical suites and recovery areas.
Restroom and Facility Maintenance :
Clean and disinfect restroom facilities, including toilets, sinks, and fixtures.
Restock restroom supplies such as toilet paper, soap, and paper towels.
Monitor and refill hand sanitizer stations throughout the hospital.
Specialized Cleaning Tasks :
Follow specific protocols for cleaning and sanitizing areas with potential biohazards or infectious materials.
Assist with cleaning and disinfecting after patient emergencies or accidents.
Handle and dispose of medical waste according to hospital policies and procedures.
Safety and Compliance :
Adhere to safety guidelines and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
Follow infection control protocols and maintain high standards of cleanliness.
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate supervisor.
