Job Purpose
To review and correct documents and invoices coming in from a MBR and quantify the claim cost. To confirm that all items claimed for was approved by the insurer and assessor.
Responsibilities
Audit and Review Vehicle Accident Invoices
Carry out a range of information gathering and data processing activities to support the administration of insurance claims, including an initial review of claims documentation to identify further information needed and/or to allocate cases to the appropriate claims specialists/investigators.
Invoicing and Costing
To review and correct documents and invoices coming in from a MBR and quantify the claim cost. Compare costings, quotes and invoices received from MBR. Quoted amounts, marked-up amounts, excesses, payable amounts and estimates on the system.
Insurance Policy Administration
Assist with accident assessment and repair processes. Have a basic understanding/experience of policy wording.
Client & Customer Management (External)
Help manage clients by carrying out standard activities and providing support to others.
Data Collection and Analysis
Produce accurate reports for others by collecting data from a variety of standard sources and inputting it into standard formats.
Administration
Produce, update and provide best practice support on MS documents, databases and other departmental systems to support the work of more senior colleagues.
Work Scheduling and Allocation
Organise own work schedule in order to get the job done, coordinating with support services and assigning short-term tasks to others if necessary.
Document Management
Create, organise and maintain files containing the correspondence and records of a senior colleague.
Document Preparation
Prepare routine letters, memoranda, reports and similar documents following detailed instruction. This is likely to involve using the full range of functions within standard office software.
Insights and Reporting
Extract simple/automatic data in various forms (graphs, charts, etc.) to include in reports. Report on audits that have been completed or are still in progress.
Education
Matric / Grade 12/ SAQA Accredited Equivalent (Essential)
Experience
1-3 years Financial Services industry experience (Essential); Experience with Audatex (Essential); Panel beating and vehicle assessing experience (Advantageous)
