Overview
Responsible for the assessment, investigation, and validation of complex and high-value long-term insurance claims, ensuring alignment with the organisation’s strategic objectives, governance frameworks, and service standards. This role requires sound judgment to manage sensitive claims such as funeral, death, disability, dread disease, and retrenchment, while maintaining a strong focus on customer experience and risk mitigation.
Responsibilities
- Administrate Short Term Motor Claims
- Manage the claim from registration to finalization
- Be customer-centric and address customer and supplier complaints
- Manage time to ensure all short-term motor claims are attended to within set turnaround times
- Pay attention to details and maintain high-quality claim data
- Manage personal development to increase own skills and competencies
Qualifications
- Matric is essential
- Have an NQF Level 5 Certificate would be advantageous
- Have 2–3 years of experience in a claims call center environment, with 1–2 years ideally in Motor Claims
