Job Summary:
We’re looking for a skilled and motivated Chef to join our team and lead kitchen operations at our coffee shop. You will be responsible for preparing high-quality food items, maintaining cleanliness and safety standards, and helping create a consistent and enjoyable experience for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook breakfast, brunch, and light lunch menu items according to recipes and portion standards
Ensure all food is fresh, properly stored, and prepared in a timely manner
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, following all food safety and hygiene regulations
Monitor stock levels, assist with ordering supplies, and minimize food waste
Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure smooth service
Suggest and help develop seasonal or special menu items
Follow all health and safety guidelines and ensure compliance at all times
Train and support kitchen assistants or junior team members, if applicable
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a chef or cook in a café, restaurant, or similar setting
Strong understanding of kitchen hygiene and food safety standards (Food Safety Certification preferred)
Ability to work efficiently under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
Creative, reliable, and team-oriented attitude
Passion for food, presentation, and customer satisfaction
