CIVIL ENGINEERING GRADUATE (WORK INTEGRATED LEARNING OPPORTUNITY) / RE – ADVERTISEMENT Jobs in Paarl, Western Cape at Casidra SOC Ltd
Casidra is seeking to recruit a Civil Engineering Graduate to plan, design and facilitate projects for beneficiaries through government and private sector funding.
The successful candidate will report to the Programme Manager: Environmental Sustainability.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
Plan, design and draw civil construction plans
Liaise with specialised companies regarding technical specifications and product information
Quality control on all civil, mechanical, electrical and structural construction works
Quantity surveying and costing
Identify, assess, report and manage risks
Enforce Occupational Health and Safety on all projects
Procurement
Cash flow management
Continuous evaluation and quality control of projects
Administration and record – keeping
Compilation of quarterly and completion reports
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
An Advance Diploma / Degree in Civil Engineering
A Project Management qualification would be advantageous
Previous experience in an in a civil construction environment would be advantageous
Excellent understanding of the MS Office Package
Ability to work under pressure
Problem-solving and good analytical skills
Ability to multitask & use Initiative
Positive attitude
A valid Code B driver’s license
Job Types: Full-time, Temporary, Graduate
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: Up to R7Â 000,00 per month
Work Location: In person
