Lead Preschool Teacher Full-Time | Classroom Leader
We are seeking a patient, creative, and enthusiastic leader to guide our preschoolers (ages 3–5) through a pivotal stage of growth and discovery. This role is perfect for someone who understands that preschool is the golden age of “Why?”, complex make-believe, and rapidly expanding independence.
- Create and implement engaging, hands-on lesson plans that introduce early literacy, math concepts, science exploration, and the creative arts.
- Cultivate critical thinking, cooperative play, and social-emotional skills. You will guide them through peer problem-solving, building deep friendships, and developing school-readiness skills.
- Maintain a safe, vibrant, and highly organized classroom where structured learning seamlessly blends with open-ended play and exploration.
Minimum Requirements:
- Fingerprint Clearance: Must possess a current, valid Fingerprint Clearance Card.
- Experience: At least 1 year of experience working specifically with preschool-aged children (ages 3–5) in a licensed early childhood education (ECE) facility.
- Reliability: A consistent track record of excellent attendance and a positive, collaborative, “can-do” attitude.
- Physicality: The energy and physical ability to keep up with active preschoolers—expect plenty of movement, outdoor play, and getting down to their eye level.
Ideal Qualifications (Preferred, but not required):
- 12 or more post-high school college units in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or Child Development.
- A current CDA (Child Development Associate) credential, or an Associate/Bachelor’s degree in the field.
