SALES COORDINATOR
We have an exciting opportunity for a Sales Coordinator to join our dynamic team.
The ideal candidate needs to be a proactive and confident individual who is focused on producing high quality, detail-orientated work in a fast-paced environment.
Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will work at the Fruitways Marketing Office in Somerset West.
Responsibilities
Processing purchase orders (PO) in the operational system by allocating and pricing stock.
Issuing loading instructions to packing operations in line with the customer PO.
Working closely with the in-house logistics team to ensure that orders are loaded according to PO.
Assisting the sales team in tracking sales data, and generating exception reports.
Ensuring timely order processing and delivery, guaranteeing exceptional customer satisfaction.
Maintaining and updating customer databases, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
Retailer reconciliation of accounts, updating and maintaining.
Sending out availability and following up on sales orders with buyers.
Creating invoices and statements after loading and distributing these to customers.
Following up on payments and allocating funds received in line with agreed terms.
Updating volumes shipped against those agreed and reporting on these both internally and externally.
Working closely with the larger sales administration team to provide support.
Timely and professional handling of customer queries.
Requirements
Tertiary qualification or Matric with proven industry experience.
2-3 years administrator/coordinator experience.
Knowledge of QX or another fruit operational system will be advantageous.
Good financial understanding of debtors will be advantageous.
Ability to work accurately under pressure.
Professional written and verbal communication skills.
Computer literacy – Proven experience or knowledge of Excel highly preferable.
