This is an ideal position for a Chemical Engineer searching for an exciting career opportunity in a dynamic and rapidly growing Agtech and Input company. The Chemical Process Engineer position is a permanent position based in Wellington, Western Cape. This position will form part of the Process Engineering team.
Main Responsibilitie
- sAssist with process technology development on bench, pilot, semi-commercial and commercial scale
- sOptimise, and improve chemical, physical and biochemical processes to meet production goals and improve efficienc
- yCollaborate with cross-functional teams to identify process improvement opportunities and implement solution
- sConduct process simulations and modelling to evaluate process performance and identify areas for improvemen
- tTroubleshoot process issues and develop effective solutions to minimise downtime and ensure optimal productio
- nProvide support in all phases of production, including end-product suppor
- tDevelop and maintain process documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions (WIs
- )Assist in the quality control proces
- sProvide technical support to various organisational departments and operation
- sAssist in Product issues in the field and develop POKE YOKE’s to prevent reoccurrence of the issue

Minimum Requiremen
- tsMaster’s degree (MEng/MSc Eng) in Chemical or Process Engineering, or a PhD in Chemical Engineeri
- ngRecent postgraduate or up to 2 years’ relevant post-qualification experien
- ceExperience in the agricultural input, food processing, chemical, or pharmaceutical industries would be advantageo
- usSpecialisation in bioprocessing or practical experience working with enzymes will be considered a strong advantag
