Role Description
We are seeking a dedicated Chef Lecturer to join our team. This is a full-time, on-site role with flexible working hours. The ideal candidate will be passionate about culinary arts and education, eager to grow with Purple Carrot Chef School, and committed to making a lasting impact on students’ lives.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging and hands-on culinary lessons.
Conduct innovative cooking demonstrations.
Mentor and guide students in their culinary journey.
Assist in menu planning and food presentation techniques.
Stay updated with the latest culinary trends and techniques.
Some administrative duties, including lesson planning and student assessments.
Qualifications & Requirements
Strong culinary expertise and cooking skills.
Teaching or training experience (formal or informal).
Excellent knowledge of culinary techniques & industry trends.
Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Flexible working hours & willingness to relocate if necessary.
Own transport is essential.
Basic administrative skills.
Assessor and Moderator qualification is a plus.
