Job Purpose

We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Channel Management Head – Lending, Invest & Insure to lead and optimise distribution strategies across investment and insurance product lines. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth, enhancing channel effectiveness, and delivering a client-centric value proposition across affluent, private, and wealth segments

The Ideal Candidate Should Be Able To;

  • Achieve revenue targets by growing existing client portfolios or acquiring new clients.
  • Meet the required Cost to Income for the Channel while managing budget goals and controlling costs to enhance efficiency.
  • Foster a service culture that builds strong relationships and encourages exceptional client service.
  • Cultivate and manage productive relationships with various stakeholders, including end-users, SMEs, project managers, and senior staff.
  • Advise specialists on target management and actively participate in planning and presenting the Channel's budget.
  • Maintain expert knowledge of specific products, pricing, application procedures, and processing timelines to drive Channel objectives and targets.

The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications and experience:

  • Relevant degree in Finance, Business, or a related field
  • Postgraduate qualification (advantageous)
  • 8–12+ years’ experience in financial services, with strong exposure to Wealth, Investments, and Insurance
  • Proven leadership experience in Channel Management / Sales Leadership roles
  • Strong understanding of FAIS regulations and FSCA requirements
  • RE5 and Class of Business certifications (advantageous)

  • Strategic thinking with strong execution capability
  • Commercially driven with a track record of revenue growth
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills (EXCO level)
  • Deep understanding of HNW and affluent client needs
  • Analytical and data-driven decision maker

Additional Requirements
