Certified Peer Support Specialist Jobs in Corinth, NY at RISE Housing and Support Services
RISE Housing and Support Services has opportunities for empathetic, dedicated, and compassionate individuals to provide peer support to residents of our Riverview program in Corinth, NY. A successful candidate will be able to assist residents in cultivating the skills they need to build self-confidence and gain independence. This individual must have the ability utilize their lived experience to appropriately respond to the needs of sensitive populations, such as those recovering from mental health, substance use, and/or homelessness.
RISE offers a Peer Support Specialist:
- A rate of $21.67 per hour with a 36 hour workweek
- $1500 bonus after 6 months of employment

To qualify you must have:
- Experience working with sensitive populations
- NYS Peer Support Specialist Certification required
- An ability to operate independently, think on your feet, and follow your training
- Excellent conflict management and dispute resolution skills
- Strong interpersonal boundaries
