Full Job Description
Competencies:
o Fluent and excellent command of the English language – speak, read and write.
o Above average telephone etiquette is essential due to daily interaction with internal and external clients.
o Fully Computer Literate
o Must be able to operate the console and send emails – training will be provided in the various software programs.
o Compile reports on Ciims system in a professional command of the English language – no abbreviations.
o PSIRA registered Grade B or C.
o Previous knowledge of a Control Room and CCTV/Alarms/ Armed response operations / RETAIL Security Surveillance
o A Thorough knowledge of how to operate a cell phone.
o Take photos and send information via WhatsApp.
o Communicate information and respond to concerns on operational groups.
o Work under pressure in a busy environment.
o Be able to multitask – communication with various parties are often required during an incident and you need to keep your wits about you.
o Report writing and attention to detail
o Report writing must be accurate
o Observations must be of a high level
o Attention to detail
Qualifications
o Formal CCTV Operator training (Certificate)
o Grade B or C PSIRA Registered (Updated)
o No Criminal Record
